Placing and Accepting Orders
Orders will not be dispatched until payment in full has been received and ALJ is satisfied with the integrity of the order. Placement of an order by you constitutes an offer to enter into an agreement with us (“your offer”). We will email you an Order Confirmation for the sole purpose of confirming the details of your offer. Please note that our Order Confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of your offer or reflect the status of your order in any way.
Delivery Timeframes
Each piece is handmade to order, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship. Please allow up to 4 weeks for production before shipping. We will provide you with an estimated delivery date for all orders. While we strive to meet this timeframe, all dates specified are estimates only. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking details.
Delivery Costs
Insured shipping rates are as follows:
- $20 (AUD) for purchases under $350 (AUD) within Australia or New Zealand with Australia Post Tracked.
- $30 (AUD) for shipping to the UK and USA with Australia Post Tracked.
- FedEx delivery to New Zealand costs $70 (AUD).
- FedEx delivery to the USA costs $145 (AUD).
- FedEx delivery to the UK costs $145 (AUD).
ALJ is not responsible for the payment of any duties, taxes, or other fees assessed to international shipments. If your order is sent back to ALJ by the shipping company for failure to deliver, you will be required to pay for the re-shipment of your order.
Returns & Exchanges
You may return damaged or faulty goods within 14 days of receipt. In the event that you receive a defective or damaged product, we will refund the original product price and delivery via the original method of payment. Alternatively, if you request a replacement, we will dispatch your replacement item (subject to availability) once we receive the faulty item by return.
Please wear fine chains with care, as we cannot be held responsible for breakages.
Security Policy
All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the Stripe are secured payments. Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by any outside party. Transactions are encrypted for storage within Stripe's bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
Release & Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold ALJ harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of your use of this website, including all costs of defending against claims by any other person.
